I now use Ubuntu Linux for my computers operating system. In my opinion it is by far and away superior to anything that Windows has to offer.
To check if your machine is virus free download a copy of "THE ULTIMATE BOOT-DISK". It is free-ware. Boot up your PC from the CD after writing the ISO to a blank CD. You might get a surprise when you discover what is lurking on your machine!!!
I think that UBUNTU is tremendous and it is highly suitable for novices as well as seasoned computer buffs. Do yourself a favour, ditch Windows and get Ubuntu. If you want you can run both operating systems on the same machine!
UBUNTU is very easy to set up and configure and there are masses of free programs - virus free - that you can put onto your computer. Don't just take my word for it. Try Ubuntu and wave goodbye to the problems that come with Microsoft Windows! Ubuntu can be down loaded from:
